The Institute of Medicine (IOM) has declared that patient-centered care is a hallmark of high-quality care.  Through these webinars, participants will learn best practice strategies to advance patient-centered care delivery and a culture which sustains it.  There is no cost to participate, but pre-registration for each webinar is required.  Tiffany Christensen, a nationally recognized public speaker and the author of three books exploring advocacy, end of life planning and partnership strategies in healthcare is the presenter.

The monthly webinars are being offered under the Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) a CMS national initiative aimed at advancing patient and family engagement and reducing events of preventable patient harm.
