Leadership CHAMP Refresher Course Location: Connecticut Hospital Association, 110 Barnes Road, Wallingford, CT 06492

This year, at the request of the hospitals, we have worked with HPI/Press-Ganey to design a refresher course for our leaders and managers, and we are hosting the Leadership CHAMP Refresher Course for the first time. This course is for leaders and managers who want to reinvigorate their role as a high reliability leader. It will include Error Prevention Highlights, such as the tools and the science; Rounding to Influence; Top 10 prioritization; and Fair and Just Accountability. We are offering Medicine, Nursing, and Quality continuing education credits for these sessions. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Join us on May 16 for the Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) launch. Presentations on perinatal opioid use, empathic attachment model mother-infant dyad affected by NAS, treating NAS emphasizing mother-baby engagement and minimizing morphine, and implementing the NAS model in a community setting.
